This page is where you can learn about me as an artist as a person.
I have been drawing and creating art since the end of 2nd grade. I was rather good at it because if I kept my grades up I was allowed to join the high school students in their art classes throughout elementary.
I currently have an Associate's degree in Art and I am attending a major university in Texas to earn my Bachelor's degree and a certificate for teaching. The sales of my artwork help put me through college.

I have painted a mural for my school's Jr. High gym, created a seal for their Special Events Center, and even designed a new school logo which is used on t-shirts, mugs, stickers, and even flags flown on special occasions throughout the town!
I paint and draw because I simply cannot live without it! It's my only escape out of today's ever-busy world of rude people. While I paint I love listening to music of various sorts, including but not limited to Metallica, The Beatles, Ministry, The Cult, The Cure, Aerosmith, Oysterband, Wolfstone, Tempest, The Ravens (from Hawkwood), Pink Floyd, ZZTop, Stevie Ray Vaughn, etc. By viewing my artwork you may also find the extreme interest that I have in fashion!
In what little free time I have I am usually talking to my bestest friend Rachel, annoying my daddy where he works, annoying my mother on the phone, or hanging out with my boyfriend John.
My boyfriend and I have two cats: Pluma (aka Boogie) is a smooshy faced Himmi Persian who was rescued from an animal shelter. There is also the sweet Barbarossa who is a giant Maine Coon who was also rescued from an animal shelter.
For those of you that remember my Jazmine, sadly she passed on September 29, 2004 in my arms. She was 12 and I miss her to no end. In December of 2006, Jazmine's mother, Baby, passed away in her sleep. I cannot express how much I miss my two girls.
